It was produced by and directed by Stuart Allen. Three series were made by LWT between 1977 and 1979, and the show was briefly revived in 1985 (but this series was, in most ITV regions, transmitted in 1986), with six of the original cast. Mind Your Language is a British comedy television series which premiered on the ITV Network. The show follows the comedic misadventures of an English as a Foreign Language teacher in an adult education college. Jeremy Brown, played by Barry Evans, must teach English to a motley crew of adult students who don't speak English as their primary language.The show features recurring character Mrs. Dolores Courtney, played by Zara Nutley, as the headmistress of the academy. A few of the recurring student roles are Giovanni Capello, portrayed by George Camiller, Anna Schmidt who was played by Jacki Harding, Juan Cervantez, played by Ricardo Montez, Chung Su-Lee, played by Pik-Sen Lim, and Ranjeet Singh, played by Albert Moses. The program focuses on the comedies of errors that can occur with people when there are language and cultural barriers hard at work.Mind Your Language is produced by London Weekend Television and directed by Stuart Allen.
