So I looked around and found some one on eBay the stores called fastterakorea And they do it for 149 all in. I can vouch for them as it came from Korea to my door in 3 days. The gdr ec is definitely worth it shorter lighter and looks better. Sold my gdx 18v ec for 90 so cost me 60 pounds. They will do it privately via PayPal for 135 but I wanted the eBay cover as it could be any one taken my money but there honest good guys so if I was you go privately just email them cheers This post was edited by christyf on, 00:20 o’clock Reason: spelling.

Written on, 23:41 o’clock Leng I would say the build quality is top notch I have held many impact drivers over the years and I would say it's best build quality out the lot. I am not a Bosch fan boy because I agree Bosch does release some crap that wouldn't last 5 mins personally I don't think you can beat the 90s and early 2000s tools on build quality but if they made them to last we wouldn't buy more lol and Craig is right I dodged fees on my Hoover but am yet to find out about this. Written on, 19:24 o’clock Christy just like you I bought the GDX but I have just ordered the GDR V- EC from the same ebay seller as you for £124! The reason I have done this is like you I would prefer the shorter length and lighter impact driver but my main reason is the GDX has a problem excepting certain hex shank bits as the bits need to go deeper inside the tool then a standard impact driver before clicking into place so buying anything hex shank has been a lottery as I've not been sure if they will fit? I just ordered some Milwaukee thunder web impact drill bits and the larger size ones don't fit as they hit the tool before clicking into place like many other bits and for this reason my GDX is going on ebay.
